Alexey Borisov

Alexey Borisov, born in 1965 is a talented, extremely eccentric artist from Ukraine. He wa educated at the Kharkov School of Industrial Art and the Cincinnati Art Academy in the U.S.A. Alexey Borisov is known for his illustrations for Playboy Magazine and for his wall paintings in the orthodox churches.

He lives in Ukraine’s former capital city Kharkov and travels frequently to Moscow, where he receives many artistic commissions. Aside from his occupation with the “eye-capturing”  genre Alexey Borisov constantly creates extremely enigmatic, melancholy and semi-abstract pictutes full of symbol and innuendo.

Alexey Borisov’s works have been exhibited in Ukraine, Russia, Poland, Germany, Denmark, the U.S.A., and Japan and can be found in private collections around the world.
